what is it with people saying what they want just 'cause they can!!!

Regardless of the freedom act I don't believe everyone should open their mouths just to be heard, can they not think it out in their heads before hand and realize how stupid it sounds in the first place?
Why offend someone just 'cause ye can?  Does it appear cool to be cruel?
Sometimes I wonder if the vast majority of people in this world have actually grown up!
