I believe so, I believe ye can have animalistic sex with someone ye don't know but have a heated connection to but to make love ye have to be involved mentally, emotionally and physically.
my characters when I write have BOTH, but are involved deeply with each other, it helps bring my characters to life, to discover each other inside and out, to see what makes each other tick and the angst in my stories are what the characters have been through before they met each other, their luggage so to speak...
