LOVE?

what is LOVE?
is it real? can you touch it?
can you feel it?
is it a feeling or an action?
a thought or a word?
what is LOVE?
why is it so easy to hurt?
if someone LOVE's someone should it not be a sacrament and protected at all costs?
LOVE

such a small word for so many feelings...

some times in life you are hurt more than words can say or even more importantly more than you truly understand, this past few days I've had an unwanted follower, someone who should no better, someone who belongs to someone else, for the first time I've had to BLOCK someone due to their actions or lack there of thoughts or concerns for their partner, who happens to be a very close friend of mine...that HURTS :-(

i don't want to rock THAT boat so i keep quiet and yet i'm the one hurting...hurting for me in what they want to do but most importantly hurting for my friend...

i'm having such a day/night...it's so hard to talk about...if you follow your heart things may well fall apart if you follow your head you may never realize your dreams! what to do? life can be so difficult...

good verses bad, mundane verses outright ecstasy...life...a cross roads...which path do you choose and why?

Life is certainly full of challenges this time of year, not just shopping for gifts for that hard to get person, no Mother Nature welcomes in Old Man Winter for a long drawn out turbulent affair, oh well, life is for living and accepting times get tough, life is for planning for such events,  stay safe out there!

How about now? I'm asking and I DO want to know?

If you ask someone in a day how are they doing? Do you actually mean it or just say it to say something because it's expected...how about from now on only saying it if You mean it!

well finally I sit here with my head bowed and my heart empty I can not let this weekend pass without saying something, anything it would be remiss of me not too, 26 souls have passed since Friday, 20 little souls and 6 adult souls who tried to protect the innocent.
why am I posting, it hurts, my heart bleeds, and I find myself asking WHY?
how could this happen, what IS the solution?
sadly and more frighteningly I think there is NO easy solution to this but I do believe whole heartedly the answer lies at HOME, not the government not other people at HOME, children should be punished, disciplined and learn from their mistakes too often now children are pushed into a corner with a game system and left to their own devices yes parents are busy but it's NO excuse in my book.

it's time we step up and be who we want our children to be...

it's always in a Christmas song isn't it one that gets your heart beat fast and makes ye smile ear to ear with all the possibilities that might ensue over the holidays...well my dear friends I wish ye all much joy and love

HUGS, quite simply I believe we all need MORE HUGS and then some more besides
wouldn't life be amazing if we could receive a hug anytime and not have to ask or hope for it?
this time of year so many people are hurting badly, alone, afraid destitue and fearful.

Reach out this year, talk to THAT stranger and perhaps part with a sandwich or coffee...

Why?

yesterday I could not face blogging after all that news, my mind whirled trying to understand how anyone could kill anyone else but children little one's at that?
why are people the way they are?  is in inbred, genetics or a learned form after years of abuse of some sort?

I don't really by the after abuse myself, been there done that sort of thing...I believe a person can overcome anything if he/she truly sets his mind to it, so to blame something horrific in order to go do something else, no no way am I buying into it...people fess up, own your own actions and for pity's sake get the help you need, it's there if you look for it...

do you ever have a day where everything you do has gone wrong?
well I have had one of those days, sigh
and it's not even over yet :-)

some days are impossible you do or say something and for whatever reason it's not understood or twisted around, sigh...onwards and upwards

grrrrr! today I am so far behind in everything it's one of those days!!!  have you ever had a day like that?
somedays it's like there are not enough hours in the day or night for that matter!
does that mean I'm doing too much or just one of those days or weeks?
this time of year we may all find ourselves in that rush, but, do we stop and think about if it's truly that important or if that rushed dinner is a good thing to do?

tonight after dinner I'm going to sit and just take some me time in, maybe you should too!

Today I've made a wee promise with myself, to learn to love myself, to learn to relax, to just enjoy!
Have you made that promise to yourself? How can you be loved if you don't truly love yourself?

It's not ego it's not selfish it's just natural...

...today I'm sitting here being reminded that life can suck royally!
is it really anyone's fault or just a culmination of things that happen together that make it so?
both really, or so I think so...today someone just is having such "fun" annoying me, pulling me apart saying how what I'm doing with my life isn't real isn't going to amount to anything...well maybe for them but for me I know where I'm going and how I'm going about it, life is hard and yet somehow people who supposedly care are the very people who drag us down and stomp all over us, why?  because we supposedly love each other it's totally acceptable?  well news in, it's NOT alright, EVER!

well I survived a wee blizzard that left over a feet and a half of snow in 24hrs WOW!
Mother Nature is incredible and constantly reminds us that there is more to life than all the plans we constantly make, life is forever evolving and changing, for good reason.

let's not get too stuck to our ways let's realize there is far more to life than what's in our visual paths...

maybe it's because it's snowed over a feet last night or maybe it's because it's beginning to look at alot like Christmas but I'm feeling mighty mellow today? what about you?

it's one of those days where a smile is constantly on yer face for no other reason than pure natural joy, it's beautiful outside, freezing make no mistake but beautiful, Mother Nature teaches us a whole lot if we choose to open our eyes and see :-)

I never intentionally try to irritate I don't understand why some people get off on irritating someone, it HURTS plain and simple, if you see you are bothering someone STOP why continue?

HUGS to us all, life is hard, we don't need someone who thinks so little of us that to pleasure themselves they hurt us...

why do people keep asking for the simple life?
is it because everything is so easy to come by now?  convenient?  life is disposable?
well life isn't!  it's what you make it to be not what you want it to be.

time, do you find yourself running out of it or do you have too much of it?
it's always a battle for me, I blink and I'm almost late, I yawn and I'm off and running to keep up and get everything done.
there is more to life, I know it, so do you.

It's called balance and this time of year that is so rare to find, make time, for yourself...

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense out of the past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow. I love smiles, smiles are what makes me shiver with happiness, happiness that comes from seeing others smile purely because they want to portray a moment of happiness passing someone by, so lets all give someone a smile :-D

have you ever stopped and just stood there, looking around you, really looking around you, noticing things you wouldn't normally notice?

a wee snail on his journey across the path into the grass, the bird on the tree branch watching the snail, the cat on the fence watching the bird watch the snail that you see...life has reasons for everything, blink and you may well miss something it's trying to teach you...what lessons have you been ignoring?

wouldn't it be nice if we were all just accepted as who we are, that we didn't feel the need to "fit" in, to "click" to just be accepted as unique and beautiful, that our stars are bright enough and shine beautiful enough on their own, no interventions are needed, no therapies, no miracle treatments, no fancy clothes, no fixed anything...we are who we are, ♥ us for who we are, in return you might be loved for who you are, how refreshing would a world be to live in then! ♥

Dreams are free, so free your dreams...is it truly so hard to go after a dream?
it doesn't cost anything, it just costs time and effort, is it that hard to go after knowing it's something you've wanted for so long?

what's wrong with trying, putting in the effort?  so what if you fail, it's in trying that you win, not giving up and never crossing the start line...TRY, DREAM, HOPE and BELIEVE!!!

what is the real meaning of Christmas to you?
to me?  LOVE, quite simple really, to be able to meet up with loved ones both near and far, or at least call them on the phone and say I LOVE YOU and I've missed you so
Christmas is time for getting it right, for putting past differences right...for forgiving, for moving on...

Christmas is REAL and Christmas is PEACE to ALL or at least to me it should be!

do you ever sit and wonder who your true friends are?
I mean surely your friends are just that your friends there in good times and bad right?

sadly not so...today I was reminded that some friends are only around if you are there to meet there every need and when life gets in the way and you are busy they lose it with you and practically huff and stomp their feet, life is hard but to have friends that are there always, now that is a priceless gem you should treasure!

what is it with people that feel they know you and what you have gone through so can safely cast their judgements and opinions knowing you so well?
I don't know anyone not even me totally, why would I ever cast my opinions of others especially on something like FB or a blog?
we are here for such a short time, life is so fleeting, blink and it can be over, why not enjoy someone's differences and learn from them instead of criticizing and judging?

CHRISTMAS, CHRISTMAS and CHRISTMAS it's everywhere today :-)
Happy 1st day of wild and crazy's in the shops
but you know there's more to December than shopping, there is, deep down you know it for a fact, it's about the loved one's in your lives, both near and far...it's about celebrating the joy they bring to your life, it doesn't have to cost a single penny if you choose it not too!
Take time this month, write an old fashioned letter or card and post it, yes POST/MAIL it to your loved one, think of them as they open up your letter, now smile doesn't that feel much better than a quick text or phone call?
