piracy with ebooks?!

what are your thoughts on downloading an authors book for free even though you know it is potentially screwing over the author?
why are the bigger book companies not protecting the self published authors more? should they in fact help or just ignore them as self published authors aren't "real" authors anyway?

how come...

how come we all know fair weather friends and even nod and tut tut when someone mentions one?
is it acceptable and just one of those things?
surely we all deserve better? surely we deserve respect, love and adult like behavior from our friends?
what is a friend?

a friend to me is part love, part humor, part fun, part security, part respect...

today i've been sitting worried over a boy gone missing near me
he's sixteen
he's gone now two weeks :(
someone knows something, somewhere...he's lost, alone and cold without those he knows and loves

please say something...

when you make yourself vulnerable...

is it a guarantee that you will be used?
Does that mean don't trust, don't let go, don't dare love?
if you don't dare, you can't possibly experience the joy of love, no matter the risk

Don't give up!!!

We learn through trial and error, we grow through experience, we strengthen through growth. Never think that you have failed at anything, if you tried it wasn't a failure...it was a learning experience. Life is good, you just need to learn to embrace the challenges that come with it, grow with them, learn from them and become a stronger you. Learn to find the gift in everything and you will experience a freedom that you've never known.

somedays I do wonder...

some days no matter what you say or do, its just not good enough!
Some people don't have it in them to see all you do, to hear all you say.
It can be hard, gut wrenching at times but then after the fog clears and the pillows been thumped quite a few times, you realize you survived and you are the stronger for it.

Don't let others stubbornness or hardheadedness ruin your peace.  SMILE, you are beautiful and you've got this!

Life...

Sometimes it's fair and sometimes not!
It truly should not be WHY or NOT FAIR but how can I carry on as best I can.
Life is for living, enjoying and savoring the many memories.

Hold your loved ones near and dear, in the blink of an eye it can be all over with nothing but words and memories...

When it rains it pours...

Some days life really throws you a spanner into the works, from the moment you fall out of bed until the end of the day when your curled up into a tight ball wondering how you possibly made it through the day.
But...you did, you will...you are!
Life is...LIFE!
We were never promised easy, or pretty, or beautiful!

But we all have those precious moments to enjoy and carry us when the days throw bricks at us and we have to climb to keep on going.

do as ye say not as ye pretend!

Some days I sit and watch people if I have some free time, do ye ever do that?
Today I was watching two groups of young people, firstly one group came in and sat in the cafe laughing and talking about two people, then another group of young people came in and said two people were amongst them, the first group acted as if they were best friends and nothing had transpired before, why?

Why do people stab each other in the back?  Why talk behind others back, to what benefit is it?

the world will get angrier...

How do you show other forgiveness if you can't forgive yourself?
The world needs to see forgiveness in action, to forgive a wrong doing is to free your hurting soul and let it heal in time.
You aren't been a coward by forgiving, you are being the strong moral character and showing the way.

Forgiveness is key to LOVE!

What do you believe in?

While finishing my book A Grave Hope I'm sitting here contemplating what do we all believe in?
Fairies?  While helping wonderful Cody Kennedy with his book FAIRY I've wondered that!

Ghosts?  I have a kind Spirit in my story as well as a Vampire king, what do you still believe in or do you?

Dracula on TV

Have ye managed to watch the new series based on the original Dracula yet?
I'm two episodes in and can not get enough of it!

Seriously captivating for sure, give it a wee glance when ye can!

What is your favorite HALLOWEEN go to book? or film?

I prefer the book over any film version!

what to write?

ever have a day where you have so much to say but don't really know how to say it?
or are in a conversation with someone and you really want to say SHUT UP and just listen for a change?
why are conversations so hard to have?
really they are only words, how hard can it be?
of course life gets in the way, we ourselves get in our own way and tend to suffer the classic case of foot in mouth disease, disastrous!

what would ye most like to read in a new book? What hero?
